Creators.Direct is shutting down

Bad news, everyone!

Creators.Direct is shutting down, primarily because it has not been financially viable for quite some time. This is perhaps due to lacking the market interest / advertising / connections / momentum to prosper. It could survive, but not excel.

It's been a tremendously rewarding process for myself and my co-founder (no longer part of the project), and has been without a doubt the most educational project I've ever had the pleasure of seeing from start to finish. With a customer-facing site, back-end data syncing server, customer portal, a native iOS app, and a native Android app, it's been an extremely complex project, and I'm very grateful to the contractors / contributors who assisted me with various sections.

Additionally, almost a year of my life went into this project, and I'm genuinely sad to see it close. Whilst my priorities have been elsewhere for the last few months, the project has still been extensively supported. Some of the more interesting features will eventually be written up on my programming blog, so the time wasn't entirely wasted!

Accounts can still be created, existing accounts can still be managed, and the entire system will still run normally for the next year. However, please see below for important dates for Creators.Direct's end of service.

Important Dates

September 2018: Creators.Direct no longer accepting new subscriptions.
September 2019: No further system maintenance (besides exporting customer's data / apps) will be performed
December 2019: No new signups will be accepted, donations will no longer be processed, notifications will no longer be sent, data sources will no longer synchronise.
